UPDATE
Figures on the forecast are now back in the red and it’s looking more promising for tomorrow. If there is any chance the event might be called off skippers who have booked in will be kept informed.
Despite positive thinking (and positive figures on the forecast earlier in the week) the air temperatures for Bournville for tonight and Saturday night have, on some forecasts, dipped into the blue.
We are not panicking yet Mr Mainwaring but skippers will need to check these pages tomorrow night to be sure the event is still on.
The race team will make every effort to contact people by text, email, carrier pigeon if the event is in danger of being called off so please keep your eyes, ears and phones on.
An inspection will be made as last time as late as is reasonably practical given the need to keep people informed.
